It's so nice to be on my computer right now and blogging instead of on my computer and working. It's been a long week!

I wore the outfit in these for a dinner out with friends last weekend. Summer is definitely in full swing in Denver! While it can be near 100 degrees during the day here, one of the things I love is how much temperatures dip at night. By the time we were walking home, I was happy I had this lightweight blazer with me.

I saw this blazer on Jean a few weeks ago (she also styled it adorably here), and after hearing from her that it ran small, I decided to run over and see if my J.Crew had one in stock, but there weren't any at the store in my size. Luckily, the Maritime Blazer is still available online, and it comes in other colors as well (I picked up this gray one, too). They're comfortable, lightweight, and perfect for adding a little polish to summer looks.

This midi skirt was another great ASOS find recently--I love the fuller silhouette, jersey material, and not-obviously-elastic elastic waistband. So comfy! Hope you're having a great day, everyone!

I've been sitting the boyfriend denim trend out so far after trying on a few pairs that just looked comically oversized on me. I finally saw the ones I'm wearing in these photos in ASOS' petite section and decided that, at the sale price, they were worth a shot. The verdict? Cute, wearable, and not overly baggy--but I'm definitely hanging on to my skinnies for the time being.

I took advantage of the great designer sale at Saks to snap up this cute "micro" version of Reed Krakoff's gorgeous Atlantique tote. I have really fallen hard for his designs over the last couple years--I love their clean, classic, and fashion-forward aesthetic. Did you find anything great at the designer sales recently? Lake Day

Yesterday was a gorgeous day for boating! It was so much fun to waterski, play with the puppies, hang out with my family, and soak up a little sun. The day was warm, but not too hot or windy, so it was the perfect day for both sitting on the dock reading and getting out to do a little waterskiing.
