I like your photos. Who takes them for you? Can your photographer take pictures of me/my wedding/my kids/my dog?
Some of the photos on my blog are taken by the talented Katie Derus of KD Photography. Additional samples of her work are available on her blog.
Mostly, though, I rope family and friends into helping out--my husband takes on the lion's share of photography duties these days. (Thanks a million, by the way--you guys are the best!)
What kind of camera do you use?
Katie uses a Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 prime lens on her Canon 5D Mark II. I use a Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 prime lens on my Canon 6D.
It looks like you have a real job. What do you do?
I'm a lawyer and work with kids, but my job involves a lot of sensitive issues and client confidentiality, so I can't really discuss it here. I will say that it's about as far from fashion blogging as you can imagine, but I'm very passionate about the work I do. There is never a dull moment!
You're petite. What does that mean?
For me, it means that shopping is always a challenge! For those wondering, I'm about 4'11" (I like to round up to 5'0" as my "program height") and weigh about 90 lbs.
