A Weekend Outfit and a New Look for Hello, Framboise

Cardigan: Crewcuts (similar in women's here) | Shirt: F21 | Pants: H&M (similar in petite-friendly Joe's kids' or in women's sizing | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Boots: ZARA | Bag: Coach | Necklace: Ann Taylor (old) | Bracelet: J.Crew | Watch: Michael Kors

I'm so excited to finally be sharing my new blog design with you! I have been teaching myself the basics of HTML and CSS, and it's nice to be able to see the end product in action at (long) last. I hope you enjoy the new look as much as I do!

    1. Thanks, Tara! I did do the whole thing myself--luckily my computer and I are both in one piece after the experience (there were more than a couple tense moments).

  11. Hi Tam, The new blog look with the watercolour effects are genius. I also love the fonts, and the soft simplicity of everything. I am slowly learning bits of HTML, and I give myself a big pat on the back every time something works out. Then, there's the in between moments of feeling almost sick to my stomach with the fear that I'm going to lose my blog and/or feeling so frustrated with things that I want to trash my computer.

You look as pretty as ever! Fresh, and ready for spring!

    1. Do you have a test blog where you can try out new pieces of code and design? That was what got me through some frustrating moments--I could at least assure myself that my regular blog was just fine when stuff I was trying on my test blog refused to work. It was so much easier to install it once it was ready, too! I just copied and pasted away.

So glad you like the new look! Thanks for the support!

    2. Thanks Tam...I do have a test blog. I know it's not rational, but I still have this little fear when I publish, LOL. Doing a copy and paste from your test blog is brilliant. I never thought of that! Valuable tip, thanks!

  13. I am so impressed that you made this design yourself! Did you use one of the Blogger templates or did you make your template from scratch? Also are you willing to work on other blog designs? I am definately needing help with mine and love what you did here. TIA!

    1. I modified one of the standard Blogger templates. At this point, I'm not working on other blog designs because I am nowhere close to skilled enough to mess with a blog that doesn't belong to me! If you'd like, you can send me an email about what you're looking to do on your blog, and I can hopefully point you in the direction of some helpful tutorials.
