It's been a gorgeous fall week this week in Denver--sunny, but cool enough to pull out my favorite boots for the first time in months. I added a leather jacket to this ensemble once the sun went down for extra warmth. I'm looking forward to a weekend of fall weather and colorful leaves.

I'm planning on doing some pumpkin carving and maybe a corn maze--what are you doing this weekend, readers? Any fun autumn plans?

P.S. Pattern-mixing still relatively novel to you? Scan through my painless pattern-mixing tips.

  1. I love the polka dot skirt with the striped top. That is such a cute combo!

  2. Love wearing boots and booties in the colder months! Can't wait to see what you will be wearing :)

    1. I am such a boot girl. There are going to be a lot of boots in my life for the next several months! Have you found any great ones this season? I can always find a reason to justify more boots . . .

  3. I'm not one to partake in much pattern mixing myself, but I really like this! The stripes and polka really look nice together :)

  4. I went to a corn maze (Anderson Farms in Erie) last night!

  5. swoooooooon, I am in love with those Frye boots!

  6. This is a fun pattern mix! I adore that necklace! What at statement look!
