Neon-Striped Sweater and a High Low Skirt

Photos: Katie Derus | Sweater: Vince Camuto | Flower Pin: F21 | Skirt: F21 (similar from Urban Outfitters) | Shoes: L.A.M.B. | Sunglasses: Karen Walker Perfect Day | Bag: Tory Burch | Bracelets: J.Crew (similar here), Express (similar here), Common Era, Boutique

The neon-yellow-and-khaki Vince Camuto sweater I'm wearing in this post is one of my favorite new spring pieces. It incorporates both the ubiquitous neons-and-neutrals and stripes trends, and it's lightweight and soft, making it perfect for wearing on its own or for layering when the weather is a little cooler.

In this post, I decided to style it in a way that's both fun and a little edgy to easily go from day to an evening out. In my next post, I'll show you another way to style this that's a little more casual and preppy for a chillier spring day. Just so you know, readers, my next couple posts will be scheduled as I'm taking a little vacation in a couple days--but don't worry, any questions or comments you might have will be answered as soon as I get back!

  2. Such a fun combo! Stripes and polka dots is one my favorite combinations, and even better that the stripes are neon!

  13. Very fun and edgy indeed. You are always so cute and ladylike that's what I love about your outfits. This neon top is perfect for spring but I can totally see it during the winter layered with something too. Love the bright flower broach too. That's my fave! :)

  16. I love high-low skirts but they don't love me. I always feel very poser-flamenco when I wear them. You, however, look amazing in that outfit.
