The gorgeously warm weather last weekend let me put together a few trends for a fun, springy brunch outfit on Saturday.
As I was assembling this post, I realized every one of the pieces in this outfit has been styled in previous blog posts, reminding me that it's not always necessary to purchase new items to have an of-the-moment look (something I often struggle to remember). A busy work and travel schedule has left me with less time for shopping and bargain-hunting lately, so I'm trying to put together new looks with what's in my closet already--"trying" being the operative word there, of course. Click on "last seen here" in the item details above if you'd like to see how I've previously styled each of these pieces.

You have great legs. Are you a runner?

I love this! The fact that you've owned these pieces for awhile is great! I love seeing how bloggers remix their wardrobe. I have to do the same thing because I can't afford to shop all the time.
ReplyDeleteLOVE!! Is the bow belt pre-tied or are you a bow tying whiz? :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could take credit! I'm not bad at tying bows, but not quite this good. The bow was pre-tied; the belt actually has elastic and snaps together.
DeleteLove the combo, makes it look like a dress.

I think showing previously styled clothing in new and fresh ways is genius. I love buying thrifted clothing, but I don't have a huge wardrobe. It's inspiring to see your remix.
ReplyDeletePS Thanks for the tip about simply copy and pasting from the private test blog to my blog. It's going to make my blog face-lift soooo much easier. You are a smartie. :)

Love your makeup in these photos! Its so pretty and natural. Do you have any favorite products to share?
ReplyDeleteSo freaking adorable and great use of your already-worn pieces!

I love this look! It's too cute, and I think remixing your clothing is great! I remix items all of the time. It's just real life. It would be a waste to purchase something and only wear it one time.

Oh my gosh do I love this! The prints and the bow. Perfection. xoxo.
ReplyDeleteThis is so perfect for Spring! I love how use your clothes in different looks. I'm all about seeing how many different looks can be made with a garment, so I love that you include the links where they were last seen!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend Tam!
Perfection!!! That bow really makes the outfit.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I love that you have so many different elements in this outfit, but NOTHING looks out of whack or proportion. Such a hard balance and this is nothing but sheer perfection.
ReplyDeleteI love this look. the florals and pastels work beautifully together
ReplyDeleteLove the blog re-do. Came over from instagram to tell you I <3 this outfit and I'm sad that I can't get that bow belt any longer!
ReplyDeletePS: Hate spammers! I HATE the anonymous comments, I too get so many of them! argh!
